Effective June 1, 2026: Please be advised, once created, your AdvancePay account will become inactive after 180 consecutive days of inactivity or non-use unless a different practice is required by governing law or contract. If your contact information is provided to ViaPath, and you opt-in to receiving a text and/or email reminder alert, you will receive a text and/or email of the scheduled expiration of your account no later than 30 days before the account expires. Once inactive, you will have an additional 90 days to request a refund; after which, any remaining account balance will no longer be available to you, but will be automatically converted and used to pay for audio calling minutes in ViaPath’s Free Calling Program. If an account is used by the account holder at any point in the inactivity period, the inactivity period will be reset.  A refund can be obtained by calling customer service at 877-650-4249.


Friends and Family of incarcerated people at the Minnesota Department of Corrections

Starting on July 1, 2023, all calls from incarcerated individuals at Minnesota Department of Corrections will be at no cost to you or the incarcerated individual calling you.  Minnesota Department of Corrections will not process any deposits made for pre-paid calls beginning June 30, 2023 @10:00pm CST.  Accordingly, please consider your planned phone calls through June 30th before adding money to your phone account.  Click here for more information about Minnesota Department of Corrections no-cost calling.
