At select facilities where the Messaging service is offered, your mobile phone can now be used to attach a photo or video, and instantly sent to loved ones. (Note: all photos and videos are subject to facility review)
Whether it’s capturing a child’s first day back at school, a special family event, or simply a “just because” moment, photo and video attachments let your loved ones stay connected to life outside correctional facilities.
How It Works
If an inmate’s facility offers the Messaging service as well as attachments, follow these steps:
- Download or update the ConnectNetwork mobile app (available for Android and Apple phones).
- Create a ConnectNetwork account, or sign in if you already have one.
- Click on “Messaging” and select an existing inmate, or add a new inmate as a Contact.
- Purchase Message Credits to send a message, photo and/or video to a loved one.
What It Costs
Photo and video attachments are premium Messaging services funded via Message Credits. Pricing and availability of each attachment type is determined by the facility.
