Cherishing the Communication this Mother’s Day

If we’ve learned anything over the past year, it’s that connecting with others, especially loved ones, is so critical to one’s health and well-being. Communication helps everyone maintain the social relationships that create happiness and life satisfaction.

At ConnectNetwork, we know communication technology is vital; it’s a lifeline for many families.

It’s beyond doubt that being away from family or an incarcerated loved one is hard, particularly on days like Mother’s Day. Though every day is a good day to communicate with mom, or another exceptional woman, Mother’s Day is a special time to cherish and strengthen those bonds. There’s something so simple but truly memorable about staying connected when we can’t physically be with our loved ones.

At ConnectNetwork, we know communication technology is vital; it’s a lifeline for many families. In honor of Mother’s Day, we want to remind friends and family of incarcerated loved ones there are several ways to stay connected and remain in touch.

Phone Calls. There’s an undeniable value of a conversation–hearing the tone of voice while communicating is paramount. It’s those moments that often mean the most.

Video Visits. Both at-home video visits and on-site video visits let you see those familiar facial expressions, creating a sense of togetherness.

Messages. How many ways can you say, “I love you”? Probably a lot. With Messages, you can say it—and a lot more–as many ways as you want.

Photo & Video Attachments. A quick snap or recording can instantly be sent to loved ones, reminding them you’re thinking of them this Mother’s Day. Whether it’s a group photo or a recording of a Sunday celebration, it’s a good way to capture the memories.

We wish everyone a safe, happy, and healthy Mother’s Day weekend.
